Corn Maze

Thursday, November 17

I entered a few photos into the Oregon Cultural Trust  "This is Culture" photo contest and this one made it to the finals.   So this is my last ditch effort to get more votes.  If you are on Facebook  please click here to vote!  The voting ends Friday at midnight, Pacific time.  Thanks!!

Yellow Leaves

Wednesday, November 17

This one rarely poses for me and she only did this for about 2 minutes so I would stop bugging her.  So glad I had  my camera after school yesterday because today is nasty outside.  She love this "new" coat or poncho or whatever you call it.   She kind of reminds me of Fleur Delacour from Harry Potter.

Halloween 2011

Tuesday, November 1

We didn't get photos done early this year and I never even got a good one of Kyla, maybe she'll pose for me this week.  She not a very willing subject sometimes.

In case you're wondering, Kyla is a ranger, but it's hard to tell without her weapons, which she was not allowed to bring to school.

I also didn't get a chance to photograph Kevin's wizard costume (which I finished sewing right before dinner), but he still needs a beard.  I guess we have a whole year to shop for that.

Here are a few photos from last weekend when we went to Ashland with friends and no kids!  Thanks Aunt Marcie, Grandma & Grandpa for entertaining the girls.  Everyone had a great time.

You Capture - Green

Thursday, September 29

We are going green by making reusable sandwich bags.  I found some cute fabric.

My 7 yo says she is going green by using rocks and string to make dolls.  FYI, rock are too heavy to stay on a stick when adhered using a glue gun.  We are now on a search for lighter heads.

I found a lot of green leaves on a sunny walk today.

Visit Beth at I Should be Folding Laundry for more Green.
