You Capture - Apples

Sunday, September 18

Ever since I sent my 10 year old to archery camp (at TrackersNW, which she loved) I've had this fear that she would come home and be tempted to shoot her little sister.   Luckily the arrow that she came home with doesn't have an arrowhead and there are strict rules about not even pointing it towards people (except for this photo, don't worry there is no tension on the string).  The girls were very helpful with my photo challenge this week even though we're a few days late.

And then she ate it.

For more apples visit Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry.

Haha, I LOVE these!! The look on her face is hilarious... and I love that you can still see the "horror" on her face in the first one, even though she's out of focus. Although thanks to the color, the apple looks like one of those mini pumpkins in the first.
(Note to self: Do NOT send Melissa to archery camp, because she WILL shoot her little sister!)

I kept forgetting to buy a red apple at the store, maybe I should try to colorize it?

No, I would leave it as is. With the other two pictures, it's clear that it's an apple :-)

What a great picture story. They will look back on these shots many years from now and have a good laugh!

Love the middle one...the OH NO look she gave is great! Apple season is in full swing. Been enjoying all kinds of treats the last couple of weeks.
